In fact, this is the map's only source of power until you fly over to the bridge. Once someone or the whole team makes it to the bridge and Pack-A-Punch machine, all machines will turn on. Look for doors around the map with the same Afterlife symbol on them. When you enter the afterlife, you will be able to walk through these doors without a problem.
Any other doors are impenetrable. Brutus is a new Zombie in Mob of the Dead. It's basically a bigger and stronger version of the normal Zombie. It stomps around, shaking the entire screen, then walks up to a player and hits them like a normal zombie. The damage they do is the same as a normal zombie, but the damage they can take is much more. After killing Brutus, he will drop a Power-Up. This is a quick map walkthrough for Mob of the Dead.
It's a guide on how to get to each part of the map, find all weapons, find all perks, and will be updated with trap upgrade part locations. If you want to know how to accomplish certain achievements or trophies, see the Uprising Achievements and Trophies page. Some of the pages make it much easier to find specific things instead of reading through this whole map walkthrough.
The game starts out all players in the Library and D-Block. You will have to revive yourself while in the Afterlife.
Notice the blue doorway with the voltage meter nearby. This doorway is only available while in the Afterlife. When you're alive again, it will be a normal door. Charge the voltage meter inside while in the Afterlife to open the cell with the Double Points Power-Up. D-Block has the M14 on the wall for points, and the library has the Olympia on the wall for points.
Like usual, these are the starting weapons. If you wish to leave the area, you can buy a door at one of the ends for Points a piece. Only buy them if you have nothing else espcialy the M14!
Both doors lead to the main Cell Block, but they are at completely different ends. The cell block is massive, and leads to other areas of the map and other weapon wall spots. The door from D-Block near the M14 will lead to a long hallway. Follow this hall until you reach B-Block. The Cell Block is the big, square area in the middle of the map. It's basically the central point to all other areas.
Taking the path from D-Block will lead to B-Block. The catwalk path ends at a door near the middle of the cell block, which can be purchased for Points, or you can jump down to the Cafeteria and Showers Doors on the ground floor. The door on the catwalk will take you to the middle of the Cell Block, also known as Broadway. If you like, you can also jump down off the catwalk Michigan side and head towards the other end of the Cell Block — possibly named A-Block. The other end has a door to the Warden's Office and the Citadel Tunnels.
The Tunnel's door can be bought for Points, but the Warden's Office must be opened in the Afterlife. Enter the Afterlife, jump through the symbol above the Warden's Office, follow the path to a volt meter and charge it to lower the Warden's Key above the office. Anyone can then grab the key to open the office and certain other locked boxes or doors around the map. Across the hall from the Cafeteria door is the MP5 wall spot.
Both the door and the MP5 can be bought for Points each. Scroll down to the Cafeteria header for more info on that room.
To access the Showers, you must enter the Afterlife, go through the door directly to the left of the MP5, and zap a voltage meter to open the door. Taking the path from the library will lead to C-D Street. It's a small area since everything is blocked off, but it leads directly to the second floor area in the middle of the Cell Block, also known as Broadway. The second floor Broadway has the B23R wall spot.
This weapon can be purchased for Points, which is much cheaper than past maps. Next to it is a door that can be opened for Points. When you reach the numbers panel, shock each number section so that the number match the ones you saw on the way down. A timer will now start and you will either need to return to your body quickly or have another person run through the door at the bottom and go down the stairs and down the hallway to the left, all the way to the end where the elevator will arrive.
Open the cage and grab the part off the elevator floor. Once you reach the Docks, either via the gondola on the third floor or through the hallway at the bottom of the Citadel, there will be a fenced in area to the right side, across from the bottom of the ramp and large set of stairs.
If you are playing solo, you can just zap into the afterlife and then shock the volt machine to open the gate, however if you are playing with more people, you will need to have two people enter the first caged area, one then will enter the afterlife, shock the volt meter, and then the other player will need to run and grab the part out of the second caged area.
The part will be inside here, but to get it, you will need to shock three electrical panels that are in the Generator Room, down beside the docks. You will need to shock the three panels that are lit up. There will be two in the Generator Room and then a third that will be through a portal at the far end of the room to hit as well.
For this last part, you will be able to get it just before you head up to the roof, through the Infirmary. You can reach the infirmary through either the door in the cafeteria or by following the catwalk behind the Electric Cherry machine on the third floor in the center of the cell block. When you enter the Infirmary, follow the corridors leading to the roof and just before you reach the stairs leading up, there will be a glass cabinet on the right side.
Now that you have the part, enter the afterlife again using the electrical box there, and go through the portal located in the tiled hallway a couple rooms over and follow the narrow passage to the roof. Once there, shock the volt machine next to the door and it will open giving you access to the roof.
Once you have returned to your body and either you or each player has a part of the plane, they will then need to head to the roof of the prison through the Infirmary.
In the center of the roof, you will see a ramp where once you are close to it, will be prompted to build. Once you have all 5 parts combined, the plane will be built and each player will need to hop on by the rear of it. A new utility is also introduced, the Gondola , which can transport players between the main prison and the docks similarly to the Zipline in Shi No Numa. Mob of the Dead features a new boss zombie, known as Brutus , who can disable perk machines, Icarus , workbenches used to craft buildable items, and the Mystery Box.
Reactivating them costs points, though the cost scales up by with each utility disabled in a single round. He can be killed but does not have his own round. Instead, he appears alongside other zombies, similarly to George A. Romero from Call of the Dead , making him difficult to kill. Upon death, he will drop a power-up. Additionally, Brutus will spawn inside the map if the player s spend too much money investing in the Mystery Box.
He will also appear randomly throughout various hordes. If Brutus encounters an active trap, he will stop moving for a while and disable the trap. Mob of the Dead also introduces the new Afterlife Mode , a form of gameplay that the player spawns in and enters upon death. In the Afterlife, new areas and objectives will become available for the player to complete [2] [3] such as unlocking cell doors and activating Perk Machines throughout the map.
However, there is a time limit for how long the player can be in the Afterlife; once the blue meter has depleted, the player will be sent out of the Afterlife and revert to a downed state.
One of the side quests available in the map features the construction of a crude aircraft, known as Icarus. After building the plane, players are able to fly to the Golden Gate Bridge , where the Pack-a-Punch Machine is located. They are able to return to Alcatraz by using the Electric Chairs found on the bridge; they will subsequently be sent to the starting room in Afterlife Mode.
It is the first time ever in Zombies that the players can complete the level and end the game without being killed by zombies. It also marks the first time in Zombies that a playable character becomes hostile to the other players. To complete it successfully, players that are controlling Sal , Billy and Finn will have to kill the player controlling Weasel or vice versa. The canon ending has been confirmed to be Weasel killing the others, proven by Black Ops 4's Blood of the Dead.
In the beginning of a match, if the players do not move and wait for the Afterlife timer to be consumed, a secret ending will be triggered, in which the screen turns to black and white, the mobsters bleed out, and Samantha's lullaby can be heard while the view is lifted from the Spawn room to the sky.
The song " Rusty Cage " by Johnny Cash can be played by activating three bottles scattered around the map. One is located on a bookshelf in the library spawn area , another is located in the infirmary, near one of the baths filled with blood, and the last is located on the docks, tucked away between a crate and a fence.
As with most of the other music Easter eggs, a strange sound can be heard when the player is near one of the bottles. This can be done by finding the warden's key , then unlocking the power switch with the numbers puzzle next to the elevator. The player needs to input the numbers "". The song will then play.
When on the roof where the plane is assembled, the player can activate a "jump scare" Easter egg. The player is required to have a sniper rifle , such as the Barrett M82A1 or the DSR 50 , and they must proceed to the far end of the roof, to the left of the runway.
If the player scopes in on the firework display in the distance, a distorted picture of a face will flash up on the screen for a split second, accompanied by a high-pitched scream. Several audio logs can be accessed by typing the four character's prison numbers into the counter that operates the underground elevator.
These audio logs, narrated by an older Stanley Ferguson , reveal information about what had actually occurred at Alcatraz and information about the group's current situation. The Golden Spork is a melee weapon that can be obtained through completing specific actions in a certain order.
It is powerful enough to deal one-hit kills up to round 34, making it the second most powerful melee weapon in Zombies behind the upgraded One Inch Punch in Origins. To activate the Easter Egg, the player must find the number counter and enter in the number '', upon entering Brutus can be heard shouting "Not this time!
The number will then change to ''. Eventually, it will then shift back to normal as if nothing had happened. No other effects occur during and after the Easter egg has been activated. Ciphers and paper scraps can be found scattered around the map. The ciphers give some backstory to the characters while the paper, when formed, shows a comic drawing made by Weasel, with editor's notes scribbled on it.
A black and white shot of the jail cells of Alcatraz Prison is seen as the prison guard, Stanley Ferguson, is making his rounds. Cut to DeLuca's jail cell, while making a cup of coffee, he walks up to Ferguson and begins a discussion.
Cut to Ferguson walking past Billy Handsome's cell, moans of pain begin to emerge from Albert Arlington's cell. Did you know Edit. Trivia The characters in the game are designed to look like the actors voicing them.
Connections Followed by Call of Duty: Origins User reviews 3 Review. Top review. Mobsters and Zombies! What Else Do You Need Finally, we have a bad-ass crew instead of the crew from Tranzit since they are uninteresting characters not knowing why they were created in the first place.
Anyways, this zombie map is one of the best I've ever played! With the hellish demolished look to it sure packs it into one hell of a nightmare. Since its one big hell of a map their so many places where you can train zombies to get those big points!! Also the riot shield makes a comeback introducing a new perk called "Electric Cherry" causing the zombies to get shock every-time you reload.
