To activate the Mac, enter an administrator user and their password. Activation requires an internet connection. If a user has forgotten their password on their Mac, you can use the FileVault 2 decryption key stored in Jamf Now only available if FileVault is turned on and the key is stored. If FileVault 2 is not enabled, you can use any of the options outlined in If you forgot your Mac login password from Apple's support website. Note: Devices will not receive commands if they are not connected to a network.
Log in to Jamf Now. On the Devices page, click the device you would like to lock or unlock. Confirm the passcode by entering it a second time on the verification screen. Your iPhone may ask you to enter your Apple ID password. This allows you to use your new passcode instead of the Apple ID password for some tasks.

My ipod got stolen but it didnt have a screen lock and i put lost mode to my ipod and it currently says pending request do you guys think that there will be a 6 digit passcode from the lost mode process implemented to the ipod to lock the screen while disabling it? I hve my own passcode to unlock my phone which is not possible for thief to unlock the phone. My concern here is for normal iphone function, if we connect the phone to computer we are able to access the photo gallery. I dont have any inapproprite photo in my gallery but im just afraid that the thief will misuse the photos.

If you are concerned about it, you can perform a remote wipe and erase the iPhone data remotely.
