Buffing up and down will create an uneven tip. Be sure to vigorously shake the bottle before applying. Evenly distribute the gel polish over your nails. Be sure the magnet is held steady over the gel polish.
Do not move it up and down. It is important to remember that the magnet needs to be placed as close to the nail as possible without actually touching the nail. Thanks for the response! Something sounds quite amiss here. No way any LED should take minutes to cure any gel polish. LED cure times are measured in seconds, not minutes. What LED light do you have?
And be very careful using your LED with Shellac. The base and top coats do appear to cure in LED, but the colors are hit and miss. Im using the Sensationail Lamp that comes in the kit but you're right I have been having trouble with lifting and peeling and I guess it's cause it seems cured but really isnt. Thank you so much! Maybe you should try a gelly sandwich - use your gel basecoat and cure. Then use a normal varnish - however many coats you need but beware!! Then you may apply your gel topcoat and cure again.
